If you apply for a loan we may collect NPI about you from the following sources:

•   Information we receive from you on loan applications and other forms;
•   Information about your transactions with us, or others; and
•   Information we may receive from a consumer reporting agency, affiliate or other companies.

We use your personal information:

  • To respond to your inquiries or requests

  • To communicate with you regarding our products or services in which you may be interested

  • To verify your identity

  • To detect and prevent fraud

  • To comply with law enforcement requirements or other legal processes 

We restrict access to NPI about you to only those employees who need to know that information to provide products and services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your NPI.  We have confidentiality agreements in place with our service providers that prohibit them from disclosing or using any customer’s NPI other than to assist us in doing our business.

We do not disclose any NPI about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.  We share your personal information for our everyday business purposes, such as, to process your transactions, maintain your account(s), respond to court orders, government agencies and legal investigations, report to credit bureaus (if applicable), or for our marketing purposes to offer our products and services to you.  We do not share your personal information with other financial companies for joint marketing, or with our affiliates or non-affiliates to market their services or products to you.

We may continue to share your information when you are no longer a customer of GITSIT.

Use of Cookies
Our web site may use “cookies” to measure site activity, to customize information to fit your preferences, to improve the functionality of our website, etc.  A cookie is a small file that a web server automatically sends to your computer or any other Internet device when you browse certain websites.  The cookie is stored as a text file on your hard drive to enable the site to remember who you are.  Each time you return to the website, the web server accesses the cookie to establish your identity.  The information stored within the cookie can be read only by the web server that originally sent the cookie to your computer. Types of Cookies
The two types of cookies are session cookies and persistent cookies.  Session cookies are temporary cookie files which are erased when you close your browser.  When you restart your browser and return to the website, it will not recognize you.   Persistent cookies are files that stay in one of your browser’s subfolders until you delete them manually or the browser deletes them based on the duration period set within the cookie.
